With a diverse background in natural science, psychology, philosophy of science, and neuroscience, my academic work centers around neuroplasticity, connections between the senses, and connections between the body and mind. Specifically, I am interested in the synergy between these research themes and human interaction with various technologies for augmenting, reprogramming, and reverse engineering mental and cognitive states. In addition to academic publication venues, my recent research has also been featured in numerous popular media outlets such as Neuroscience News, SciTechDaily, and Popular Mechanics. I have extensive experience in research design, neuroscience, and neurotechnology. I am skilled in various methodologies, including analytical, qualitative, quantitative, physiological, neurophysiological, and neuroimaging methods.
